How Jukebox handles your information
Jukebox Lite is designed for one event at a time. It uses a temporary guest identity so you can join in without creating a permanent public profile.
Launch draft · last updated 21 August 2026
What we use
- Your temporary event name and picture.
- Your song requests, votes, reactions, game activity and event check-in.
- Messages and connection choices you make with other guests.
- Reports you send to the safety team, including a reported message when you choose to attach it.
- Technical security information such as a one-way hashed entry fingerprint. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the Jukebox entry-limit table.
Why we use it
We use this information to run the event, deliver the features you choose, protect guests, prevent abuse, investigate safety concerns and keep the service reliable. We do not sell guest information.
How long it stays
- Lite connections, blocks and messages are deleted when the Event Session ends.
- Safety reports keep only the minimum report and audit evidence for up to 90 days, unless the law or an active safeguarding matter requires a different period.
- Old anonymous guest accounts are scheduled for deletion after 30 days when they are not attached to an active or future event.
- Operational, financial and staff records may need longer retention for security, accounting or legal reasons.
Who helps us provide Jukebox
Jukebox uses specialist hosting, database, authentication and security providers acting on our instructions. Access is restricted to authorised staff and service providers who need it to operate or protect the service.
Your choices and rights
You can stop a connection, block another guest and report a concern inside the event. For access, correction or deletion questions, use the Support page or speak to the event organiser. We may need enough information to verify the request.
